The food in all honesty was a little disappointing. The only amazing dish that carried our meal was the calamari which was spectacular. I'd highly recommend even getting 2. Overall the prices were a little to high for the quality of food and lack of overall seasoning. Many dishes seemed confused in terms of cohesion of flavors sadly.

Pasta Ramen was an interesting experience, but overall it didn’t quite live up to the hype for me. The staff was wonderful and incredibly attentive. They even made a vegetarian option for me, which I really appreciated. Their service was definitely the highlight of the night. The food, however, was pretty underwhelming. It mostly tasted like standard Italian dishes with Japanese seasonings sprinkled in. Nothing really stood out or felt especially unique. I was hoping for something more creative or bold in flavor, but everything kind of blended together and lacked that wow factor. The space itself is sleek and modern and it definitely gives off a cool and trendy vibe. But when it comes down to the actual food, I felt it didn’t match the buzz or justify the price. I’m glad I gave it a try, especially with how kind and thoughtful the staff was, but I probably wouldn’t return. It’s worth checking out if you’re curious, but manage your expectations when it comes to the food

My boyfriend and I finally decided to try this place for our date night. When we arrived, we discovered it was BYOB, and fortunately, the liquor store just a few doors down offers delivery, which was incredibly convenient. The overall experience and ambiance were fantastic. The food was good, although a few components of the dish were a bit overwhelming, but otherwise, it was enjoyable. Our waiter was very friendly and did an excellent job explaining the menu and dishes to us. However, he did forget one of the dishes we had ordered, which we were really looking forward to, and by the time we noticed, it was too late to add it to the order. Despite the minor hiccup, we still had a great time. The atmosphere, service, and overall experience made up for it, and we left feeling satisfied. We’ll definitely be back, and hopefully next time, everything will go off without a hitch!

I recently dined at Pasta Ramen and had a mostly enjoyable experience. The service was attentive and friendly, which definitely added to the overall atmosphere. I really liked the cucumber salad and the clam dish — both were fresh and flavorful. The shrimp scampi was also a standout, perfectly cooked with a nice balance of garlic and richness. However, I did find the ramen with soup to be much too salty for my taste, which was a bit disappointing given how promising the rest of the meal was. Hopefully, that’s something they can adjust in the future.

This may be my favorite restaurant in Montclair. The atmosphere was so laid back, not to mention the playlisttttttttt early 2k throw backs🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 the food was exceptional. 😘👌🏻 chefs kiss. Can not go wrong. They’re very attentive with food allergies as well and just all around such a great little spot.
